The words “roof”, “aunt”, “direction”, and “naturally”; to which list the Q family appended “school”, “book”, “g’day”, “castle”, “grass”, “aluminium”, “herbs”, and “caramel” - and Shoc added "dynasty", "theatre", "adult", "garage", advertisment", "fertile", "anaesthetist", "banana", "Berkshire", "Derby", "Hertford"... and Kerry added, "water", "KERRY", "CARRY", "MARY" , "goat" and "goal". I added "yellow", "fire", and "truck" in a Carlisle, PA accent. I also added "Forrester Street" from Harrisburg, PA.

What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that when you touch it, curls into a ball?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
What is the thing you change the TV channel with?

If my house is ever TP'd I know who to blame now!

And if mine is "ecked", I know who to blame. (and I say it the same way)

:P

It was hard to hear but my default is to say it with an long a (/eɪ/) "a" agged. I say egg, beg and leg with the same vowel sound that I'd say 'bay' . IDK where that came from! That's New England, I think.

I say them that way too! It's difficult to say it the way it's probably meant to be pronounced.

You sound like someone who used to be a nun. I can hear that in your voice - the sound of holy light. It's like god is shining through your arizona accent, surrounding you with warmth and sexy habits.

LMFAO yeah. It's the authoritarian part of my voice :P

And yeah - I totally have this weird amalgamation of an accent. I used to be so PA but then college hit and now it's this weird thing going on - which is really an Arizona accent since there are so many transplants down here.

Hee! I had know idea it was anything other than a daddy longlegger until that book "Dear Daddy Longlegs" and I was all "longlegs? O.o wtf" I think I was like 10 or so when I read that book and was amused at the way that they were TOTALLY DOING IT WRONG OMG.

I love your accent because it's such a mix. I don't think many people would guess you were from PA very easily because you don't really have the classic east or west PA accent.
