Right, so just a quick update...

For those of you all that have been following the pet food recalls and thinking "Thank God I feed my dog/cat dry food" - this might change your mind.

Basically, Prescription Diet from Hill's (which, by the way is the dry food we feed the animals at our shelter) has been recalled. This food is, normally, only available through the Vet.

This story has to be a contender for least publicized but scariest of the year. The ramifications of this are the fact that they still have not been able to identify with certainty the toxin involved. Now they're saying it's a plastic. I'm still asking what safeguards are in place to keep this from happening to the human food supply.
