Week in the Life - Day 1
I will, in all likelihood, fail at keeping this up for 7 days BUT...
Rules:
1. You must take between 6 and 8 new photographs per day.
2. Your WITL must be consecutive. No skipping days.
3. You must post your photographs at the end of that day, sometime after the last picture is taken.
4. Each photograph must have the time taken beneath and a title, with no other explanation.
5. You must post these rules at your first entry, then link back to it for the other six days so that people will know wtf you're doing.
6. Your post must say "A Week in the Life of [your name/username], Volume [whatever day you're on].
The buttfuckingugly house two down from me.

Arizona storms - bright sunshine on one end of the yard:

and dark foreboding clouds on the other end:

kaalee did one of these and it looked fun, self-portrait where I look taller than I am:

My kitchen:

My orange tree:

My grapefruit tree:

My random pumpkin plants:

The last of my Tastykakes (anyone want to send moar?):

Random photos from when I meant to do this before:
He's half pit bull and half basset hound. He's Jake, the wonder dog:

5pm commute home on Friday:

Book 4 of the Nightrunner Series (this photo also known as, "proof that wook reads in the car at red lights):

My poor car:

I hadn't known that I lived where there was a mechanic's garage four houses up. This truck annoys me as it parks right where I can't back out of my own driveway without almost hitting it. Park near your own garage/house, you fucker. And stop towing in your ghetto beaters.
My ficus tree. Purchased in 1996. Was told it would last MAYBE two months and the guy thought he was ripping me off for charging me 15 bucks for it. I call him Jabba as he is normally ginormous (i just pruned him):

Linda Howard is awesome! I love Julie Garwood, too. I'm currently reading Book 2 of the Brenda Novak "The Last Stand" trilogy. Have you tried that yet? Trust me was excellent and Stop me is really good so far!
Come on down!!!!

I love dogs and Jake looks intelligent :D
In the picture it looks like you have ice on your car.
I stopped reading the Nightrunner series at book two (I didn't read good things about book three, so I was unsure about buying it). Is it any good? What about forth (I didn't know there was a forth, btw)?

Jake is super smart and very placid, too.
And hee! It's just too bad that that is the oxidation of the clearcoat across the top. The silvery bits are where there is NO paint on my hood :(.
Book 3 was my fave Nightrunner book. Book 4...errrrrrr....well, it felt like she lost her characters. Too long between books, methinks.

We've got about 10 grapefruits and about fifty bazillion oranges. Not bad for the first year for a set of dwarf citrus plants :D.

I squeed when I saw you had Shadow's Return already. We couldn't find it the other day over here.
I was so tempted to buy it from the store where she was doing signings so I'd get an autographed copy but I couldn't afford it.
I've been watching Lynn's LJ and it's a great laugh. She was answering a lot of questions about the series and all.

Shadow's Return is good. It's not as good as I was hoping but it was good. I wanted an autographed copy, as well, but the shipping was way out of my price range.
And I LOVE her LJ. The little questions she answers are so awesome! I love the Tamir triad. Did you read that one?

I love all your trees and things. I can't keep a plastic christmas tree alive!
no subject
Hee! I'm horrible at keeping things alive. I think that Jabba only lives to spite the dude who sold him to me. When I moved him from PA back down to AZ, he went down to about 30 leaves. It was really sad and I cried because he'd been with me for so long and I couldn't stand to see him so stressed so I really babied him for a very long time. He loves it outside during the summer.

Also, I want citrus trees.

Citrus trees are AWESOME. I had lime trees but the birds ate the blooms so I never got my limes.

Love the kitchen!

I love love love them so much. My dad sends them to me for birthdays and christmas. Those are the last of the ones I froze after Christmas.
You'll need to come here and have a cup of tea with me in the kitchen!

There's something I love about seeing green fruit on a tree. Always have. Not sure why. I think it goes back to when I was a little kid and first realized that those green blobs "magically" turned into fruit.
no subject
I love it, too. I start thinking of what I want to do with it and making all these grandiose plans and then, in the end, I know I'm just going to eat them as is. But the plans are lovely :D

This is my first year with citrus trees that get beyond the bloom stage. Down here, there are places where people just let the fruit rot on the ground because there's so much. Me? I snag it all!
Jake is love! I get to dogsit him in October again and he is so cool!
