Ok, so I'm currently downloading the pictures from my camera from Lumos so my Lumos update is coming...

In the meantime, as I finally entered the 20th Century and got a digital camera - I'm going to do that photospam meme that was floating around.

Ask me to take a picture of any aspect of my life that you're interested in/curious about - it can be anything from the house I live in to my favorite pair of shoes. Can anyone recommend a website hosting company that is dirt-cheap and won't randomly delete schtuff? I want a full website so I can put my fics in one central location instead of scattered about my lj and different archives plus host pix for a custom moodtheme I'm making myself.

Define "dirt cheap"?

I use slashcity, and I love them. They are awesome and amazing and helpful, and they have a variety of hosting packages to choose from.

for domain hosting, I use godaddy. A .com domain costs about $12 per year and if you get hosting, their basic plan is $4 per month I believe (US$).

There are other options if you dont require a domain... angelfire, geocities and a host of others. Check your isp. Over here (AU) any decent internet plan has webspace included, so you could always buy a domain from godaddy and point it to your isp webspace.

Go Daddy has been great to work with. I host both my personal stuff and we host our archive TQP there. Plus, the more months you pay for at one time, the cheaper it is per month. And Domain names are now $2 for year if you buy anything else from them.

OK...enough promo for GoDaddy. I like them and have had great experience with them.
