Thank you for saying that. It has always boggled my mind as to why people would say they were making a friends cut. And the blanket "comment if you want to stay" has always seemed odd. I do respect people's rights to conduct their flist in their own way, and if that's what makes them happy, though, I guess that's the way they should proceed.

A friend and I were giggling at a meeting the other day, though, when she read a quote, "Encourage open expressions of brotherhood".

I remarked that it was slashy and another lady kept saying "I don't get it!", which made us laugh even more. I could not keep a straight face later when I had to read aloud a letter asking for donations of things like baskets of sausages...
