This was lovely and sweet and the tattoo was such a brilliant idea. (I wonder where the tattoo was exactly though *wink* haha jk!) This line particularly spoke to me: When they finally recover, Seamus doesn't move away, just keeps his arm around Dean's shoulders and leans in, whispering, "You're going to be my best mate."
Best mate love, I can never get enough of it <3
By the way, I was wondering for your opinion on what Dean's Patronus would be and why, since it was never mentioned in the book. (Dammit Rowling!) I'm not too sure myself (I don't think I'm going to say a hound for the er, obvious poetic connotations, though it seems kind of Deanish.) Maybe a black greyhound? I think his Patronus would be something long legged and graceful, faithful, er, relaxed? And er, I guess in DH Dean successfully ran away from the snatchers, haha though otherwise a greyhound's speed doesn't really seem to apply to him.
I dunno, I just think I'm too unimaginative to think of something more fitting.
Do you have any other thoughts on what other characters' Patronuses that weren't revealed in the book would be? (I read in a forum somewhere a suggestion that Fred's should have been a peacock and George's a platypus hahaha... also that Luna's shouldn't have been a hare but instead a Crumple-Horned Snorkack.) God, I wish Rowling would do more interviews... :(
