-The History Boys (I saw it in theaters twice--I loved it, a friend of mine found it incomprehensible. C'est la vie.) -Fearless (Jet Li's last movie. Absolutely beautiful.) -Amelie (if you haven't seen this, then go forth and do so!)
Books:
-Swordspoint by Ellen Kushner--swordsmen, gaiety (seriously. This book is gay.), nefarious plots, and beautiful writing. Really, anything this author has ever written.
-The Plague by Albert Camus--because I rec this book to everyone I see, even if it's a classic and a lot of people are forced to read it at some point
