The whole bit about the boggarts was brilliant. I loved that Dean was all, seriously, wtf are you off about now? at first, but Seamus kept going, because he needed to explain it and didn't know how else to do it. What a perfect way to show that. And this tiny bit of a line: put me back together best I could go was about the most perfect thing you could possibly have said. People always talk about putting people back together-- but it's never quite right. That just rang so true and again, with the heartpang.

I love that Dean is so aware of how much Seamus is touching him and is even commenting on it to Parvati. He might not know exactly, but I think he's more aware than he even thinks he is. I also like that there are differences, however subtle, between who he was and who he is-- even just things like he cooks now. It gives such greater depth to this story than if he were exactly the same as before. I really love this. Now I must take a break and actually work... Denver Airport WiFi FAIL has made this a slower process than expected, but I will be back and finish rereading and commenting on this story hopefully later tonight. (Again, with the fangirling and I love this more than you can possibly comprehend flailing, cuz that's just how I roll!) <3<3
