I keep saying, I have dogs, what do I need children for? I just want my dogs to live for a really really long time, like forever or something, yanno?

I know. Our first ever dog, Galen, died in May last year (at 8 and a bit) and we're still grieving. Fortunately we got a pup (now nearly 1 year old), who is keeping Galen's little-sister-by-one-year occupied and young and bouncing.
